My daily target is minimum of 18,000 steps.
I get to the office early, park at the farthest car park and walk along the perimeter fence all the way to my office achieving 6,000 steps by the time I get to my desk.
During the day I make a conscious effort of getting off my desk every 2 hours either for a biological break or to discuss with colleagues at their desk. I also practice eat and burn at lunch time, spend 30 minutes eating and the balance 30 minutes walking to burn the food.
By closing time I am usually on 10,000 steps. I make up the balance 8,000 steps walking around the car park area for about 1hr 30 minutes before heading home.
